Mrs. liinchcliffe, wife oi the airman who was lost in an attempt to 11 y the Atlantic, described to a gathering of women to-day an eerie aught visit of her husband.
.She said -she and three friends, one of whom was a medium, awakened at the sound of heavy footsteps. It was just the same as when Captain Hincheliif© used to leave the house early in the morning on hying duty wearing heavy flying boots At a subsequent seance Mrs. Hinclicliffe asked her husband, who said he had been in the house, and added that he was very busy impressing people on earth with the value of aviation and instructing them. Mrs. Hinehcliffe remarked to the audience that she had already noticed that several people interested in hying had taken up spiritualism. This she attributes to her husband.
Captain Hinehcliffe had said he had met again a lot of the old crowd who had been killed in the Avar. He bad manifested himself holding a large torch, the light of Avhich fell on the faces of the sitters, who saw him and signed a certificate regarding the occurrence.
