Work ceased aboard the wrecked White Star liner Celtic owing to the weather and sea conditions growing worse. The White Star superintendent at Queenstown has notified the company that it has been, proved that 'extensive damage was done to the bottom af the liner, making salvage of the ship impracticable. LONDON, Dec. 19. 'The first accident of the kind happened to-day to a large twin-engined aeroplane taxi-ing to its aerodrome, at Ramsgate. 'The plane crashed into a motor-ear and a bus traversing a road through the aerodrome. The car was smashed and the three occupants had narrow escapes. NEW YORK, Dec. 18.
