ATHLETICS AT HAWERA.
THIRD EVENING MEETING. HANDICAPS FOR WEDNESDAY. Entries totalling 77 for the five track and field events and' 21 for the three cycling races have been received for tlie third of the season’s sports l meetings, to be held under the auspices of the Hawera Amateur Athletic Club on Wednesday, when ' another attractive list of contests in the series for tlie club trophies should be presented. In adidtion to the eight events mentioned, post entries will be received for a ladies’ 75 yards handicap and a handicap of 220 yards, open to primary schoolboys, both, of which count for cups in the respective divisions.
