Eileson flew over the North Pole, was to-day the first complete aei’oplane to touch Antarctice -soil at Deception Island. The Hektoria. upholding her name, entered the harlwur on the sixth, anchored, and was then moored to the beach with six seven-inch hawsers, preparing to withstand the customary November storms, but so far fine weather prevails, enabling everyone from the captain to the mess hoy and- the membe-s of the expedition to busy themselves during every waking hour.”
