PERSONAL ITEMS.

Many friends in this district will I earn with regret of the death in Wanganui of Sister Rose, who before 1920, was several years Mother Superior at Hawera. She was born in Dublin and had a sister and two, nieces in the Wanganui Convent. For many years she had been in charge of a boarding school in Wanganui previous to coming to Hawera. and latterly had been assistant to the Mother Superior at Wanganui Convent.
