TARANAKI GIRL GUIDES.
WINNERS OF LADY" ALICE FERGUSSON CUP. Advice that the Girl Guides of the Taranaki province have won the Lady Alice Fergusson Oup was received from the. Dominion Commissioner, Mrs W. Rt Wilson, Auckland, by Mrs John Houston. This trophy was presented by Lady Alice Fergusson for competition in needlework and knitting between the Girl Guides in all the provinces throughout the Dominion, and tliis is the first occasion it has been won by Taranaki, though the entries, from this province were well placed in the list of awards last year.
