TRENTHAM TRACK NOTES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 17. It was; an off morning at Trenthaim, cold and a slight fall of rain ' Sapient sprinted three furlongs on the grass in. 40 2-ssee. Pink Note, who looks well, cantered once rotund on the tan. Chelone galloped six furlongs 1 'on the grass in limn 17sec., the last three being done in 38seie. in excellent order. Staghunter cantered a round. ■Commendation was schooled at the barrier, and after being just a little rest less, jumped out smartly. He should bo right' on 1 race day. The Hawk and Goshawk did useful work. Bla'ck Mint cantered two rounds, moving freely when warmed up.
