YOUNG AUSTRALIA LEAGUE CONTINGENT FROM SOUTH TARANAKI DESIRED. Three weeks ago we published particulars of the projected tour of the United States of America and Canada under the auspices of the Young Australia League and the. general invitation to New 1 Zealanders to provide a. quota of thirty boys for the contingent, the New Zealand quota tQ. keep their own national identity throughout the tour. The Australia contingent of one hundred boys was filled within, a few weeks. The project has been brought more closely in touch with this, district through the New Zealand representative of the Young Australia League addressing a letter to the president of the Hawera Rotary dub, the following being an extract'therefrom: “I am anxious to secure the names and addresses of six or eight persons of your town and district, who have boys between the ages of 14 and 17 years., whom you think or know could afford to allow their boys to join the New Zealand company.’ 11 If there are any who are sufficiently interested in 'the invitation to this district Mr J. A. Duffill, president of the Rotary Club, will be glad to afford information to- inquirers.
