AIARY’iS 'SHOW THIS EVENING’S ATTRACTIONS St. (Mary’s show and sale of work was open all day ter-day hnd though the morning wais quiet, 'the afternoon session was busy, and good business was done. The male beauty competition is creating much interest and the fortunes of tlic five aspirants' t'v the distinction of topping the poll have been watched very closely. The count at 3 p.m. to-day showted the position to be:— J. M. Townsend 1742 M. H. Kendall 1709 W. A. Spragg 1661 M. ,R, Jones 1601 J. A. Dalgetty 769 The show will be open _ again this evening! wlien the crowning of the “King” will take plane and is isure to create great interest. This has been fixed for nine o'clock. Tiie Haw-era 'Municipal Band will a (gain contribute a series of numbers this evening. Inadvertently the name of the representative of Tokaora in the management of the country stall was given as Miss Batten' whereas it should have been Mrs Bollond.
