HOUSE DESTROYED AT NAPIER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, Sept. 20. A five-roomed house in Roslyn Road was destroyed by fire this morning. The house was owned by Amners Lime Co. and occupied hy Air Mel wanes arid insured for £6OO. The insurance on the contents was £l5O. A BLAZE AT GISBORNE. GISBORNE, Sept. 20. A fire shortly after midday did considerable damage to the stock of Robertson and Company, mercers, and James Johnson, tailor. The premises had been closed for the half holiday shortly before the outbreak was discovered. The need for protection against fire '•'><)a is obvious.
