BELFAST HANDICAP. Of 135 sovs. 1) miles. 1 Sun-fish (coupled with Rollo 1 7 Linkman 2 1 Rollo _ 3 Scratched: Florrie Pointer. Won by three lengths. Time, 3.29 2-5.

CHRISTCHURCH. Sept. 8. At a meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Board, the officers elpctecl were: President, Mr J. H. Williams; vice-president, Mr H. W. Kitchingham ; honorary treasurer, Mr W. Hayward ; licensing committee, Messrs W. H. Denton, and W. Hayward; appeal committee, Mes-srs- Williams, Kit-ching-ham and Hayward. A. E. Adorns, of Otahulmi, telegraph - ed stating thait he had arranged to sell The Abbev to IM. J. Mooda.be. He asked whether the association would grant a transfer. He also wrote stating that the dispute over The Abbey was* settled far as: th. courts: were concerned. It was decided to reply stating that the application - for registration would be considered when, it- came before the board.
