TOUR OF THE DOMINION

POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT YEAR

Advice has been received .by Mr E. K. Cameron, (secretary of_ the provincial executive of the New Zealand Farmers ’ Union, that the .tour of South African farmers, which had originally been fixed for October, 'had been postponed until next year. His .first advice, dated August IC, stated that, they would be in South Taranaki three day s and would visit the Manaia and Stratford Experimental Areas, and the Kaupolconui Dairy Factory, so as to see dairying and dairy farming in a its branches. But the later advice on August 21 said that the tour was postponed .until next year. The tour was arranged as another m the link -off inter-Empire overseas visits in order to give farmers of the Dominions and the Old Country the opportunity of seeing the variours aspects of farming in the different countries and of exchanging views and opinions.
