‘ ‘HAWKESBURY ’ ’ CATALOGUE. YESTERDAY'S GOOD .SALE. At Hawera yesterday .there were sold on behalf of Messrs C. and iS. F. Goulter, well-Jku'own ,Jersey of Marl borough, a i consignment, of twenty - live pedigree cait'tle from their herd. The sale was held ‘by Newton King, Ltd., and New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency .'Company, for whom Messrs W. B. 'Fearon and J. D. M'cQuin acted. Bidding was strong Nand all were sold.
Top price was secured by the six-year-old cow H'awkesibury Roselle, from the imported dam Soumise Lily, which at 7'o guineas fell to Mr J'ohn Nieolson, of Hawera. The two-year-old Dull Hawkeshury iSam Weller, who was sired by the imported Usurper, was bought by Mr Robert Hicks, Hawera, if or 65 guineas.
