ARRANGEMENTS AT RTCCARTON. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 14. “There’s nothing secret about it at all,” said Mr A. R. Harris, general manager of the Radio Broadcasting 'Company this morning when discussing the method adopted of broadcasting the results of to-dav’s races. The use of <a pirvate telephone just outside the Ri'ce'arfon course had been 'secured and this was connotated to the station. Instead of the message being telephoned through to the station and announced from there, the telephone was connected to the transmitter and the results were then broadcast simult’aneou'sly with the announcement at Rieearton. “Just wlfat, we will do in regard to subsequent meetings has not yet been decided,” said Mr Harris.
