There was a large attendance and the course was in good , order. The radni ceased after the first race. Results: HUNTERS’ HURDLES. Of 250 savs. One and three-quarter miles. 2 Diana’s Lacl 1 3 Rangi Sarto 2 9 Umtali 3 Scratched: Chris Sarto, Prompter. Won by two lengths, with a neck between second and third. Time, 3.18 2-5. TRIAL HURDLES. Of 300 sovs. One and three-quarter miles. s'Wuicleus 1 5 (Qraigmore 2 4 Lady Passenger 3 Scratched: Lougbrea, Panorama, Standard, and Piccaninny. Won by five lengths, with a head between second and third. Time, 3.17 2-5. CASHMERE PLATE. Of 250 sovs. Six furlongs. 4 Noteworthy 1 8 Starshooter 2 1 Malmsey 3 Scratched: Smithereens, Deispot, and Ron Raid. Won by a neck. Time, 1.15 4-5.
JUMPERS’ FLAT. Of 250 sows. One and a half males: 3 NukumaL 1 4 Gaze ” 5 Ladv Gay 3 Scratched': Tau-leton. Won by half a head. Time, 2.42. NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE. Of 1600 sovs. Three and a, half miles. 4 Wiltshire 1 3 Pouri 2 2 Tuki ; 3 Scratched: Matu. Won /by ten lengths. Time, 7.3 4-5.
