m to the "Petrol *Bargain-Hiunter Beware of the so-called “cheap” Motor Spirit! m X f# SAIP 'A m 5 V 2 s W & I UJ at % \ I e It’s cheap. Exactly what does that mean? Does any bargainhunter think he can save money that way? Does not cheap strut arm in arm with trouble? It does. Cheap and trouble are killers. They kill cars with a smile but the laugh is on you if you buy that way. Cheap in most articles means quality left out or impurities left in. In some of the cheap grades of motor spirit marketed in New Zealand today there lurk impurities deadly and corrosive in their effect. They are there. Analysis has revealed them. What greater folly is there than that of a man who runs a costly car on cheap and trouble petrol? Such a bargainhunter does not know what he lets his car in for. Here is an unchallengeable statement. Cheap, impure, badly refined products will corrode the vitals of any car. Sulphur eats copper and brass loves it. Carburettor and Vacuum tank floats, jets, piping, petrol leads will surely become pitted and eaten away, and cost the bargain-hunter more in repairs than he would save in a century on the cheap and trouble kind. Buy a petrol free from impurities, correctly refined, with all the qualities of volatility and power that your car deserves. Such a motor spirit is Plume. The motorists of . New Zealand know that Plume is reliable, without impurities, clean, powerful, and highly volatile; that they can obtain it wherever they may go throughout the Dominion. You can always make sure of getting quality by filling at the Plume pump. Don’t abuse your car with so-called cheap motor spirit. It pays to use Plume. , ' VACUUM OIL COMPANY, P T Y TD
