FRIESIAN ASSOCIATION’S GIFT

The New Zealand Friesian Association has presented a gold watch to Mr. H. E. .Johnson, of Tokaora, in order to show ‘‘their high appreciation of the most valuable services rendered to the breed through the assiduous and untiring attention given to the carrying out of your share of the work in the Tokaora cheese experiment,” as a letter received by Mr. Johnson stated. The members, in presenting him with the gold watch, expressed the hope that “it will for long years mark the passage of happy and prosperous days, and recall the gratitude nncl good wishes of the association.’’
