NEARLY £16,000 NETTED. The English Football Association share from the Cup Competition last season amounted to £5,873 7s 6d, taken as percentages from the last four round's of the competition proper, £5,081 16s Id front the semi-finals, and £4/870 3s lOd from the final tie at Wembley— J a total of £15,825 7s sd. In striking contrast to these large' suins is the total of £405 0s 6d received as the F.A. Is sharo of the semi-final and final ties for the Amateur Cfup. Receipts from internhfibnnl matches show correspondingly large differences. England v. Wales n't Burnley yielded £1,458 18s 3d, and England v. Scotland at Wembley £8,606 Os 7d, while the full expenses of these matches and England v. Ireland at Belfast, were no more than £OOO. The receipts for the amateur match against. Ireland at Blackpool were £256 17s lOd, and altogether the amateur matches showed a profit of about £32. Tnvestmenltis of the F.A. at market rate are valued at £07,835 10s 6d, and the accounts at the hank exceed £20,000. With regard to new offices, a deposit of £1,210 has been paid on account of the purchase of .108, Lancaster Gate, but the completion of the trans'action is in abeyance. The total .assets of the Football Association. amount to £94,196 10s lid.
