BUILDING iSTRUiCK BY LIGHTNING NO .LIFE LOST. 4 (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) , Received 10.30 a.m. -to-day. NEW YORK, July 29. Eleven insane ; criminals, including five murderers, were turned loose at midnight when the central state hospital for the insane at Nashville was b'urncd. Lightnin.o- struck the building and short-circuited the wiring. Eire raced ithrough 1-he huge building. The attendants rustled through the corridors, loosening altogether 2270 lunatics. It is believed that'-no one life was lost, as the patients, some laughing and some screaming, ran forth. In spite of the vigilance of 'the police, hundreds escaped into the nearby fields. The damage was estimated at hundreds of thousands sterling.
