AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 25. In view of the Dominion championships Lo be held here next month, more thfai ordinary interest was taken in the Auckland amateur boxing championships, , which were finalised last night. The results were:— Flyweight. — F. E. Pearcey beat A. Crook.
Bantamweight.—E. Davis beat L. Bailey. Featherweight!.—J. 'Leslie .beat A. Craig. Lightweight.—A. .Tones, after heating, M. Peryer in the semi-finals, won by default from iC. F. 'Craig, who bad defeated C. McKnight. Welterweight.—J. 'G. Forsyth beat F. Freoce.
Middleweight.—W. Pitcher beat A Shadbolt.
Light Heavyweight. —P. McCarthy beat T. Mullins.
.Heavyweight.—F. McCarthy, who had beaten Frear in the semi-finals, won by- default from T. Mullins.
