A resolution published by the Council of the People’s Commissary on the subject of grain storage prohibits the application of extraordinary measures, and particularly orders the immediate suspension of all forms of compulsory confiscation of grain and any limitation on trade between villages. . The resolution provides for an increase in the prices to be paid for wheat, extending to 20 - kopecks per rood according to the region of supply. It also sanctions increases in the prices of oats and other cereals.. i The resolution further instructs the commissary to secure a- timely - supply of industrial goods for -the- peasants, and energetically. tp fight_ against the private distillation oUspirits.
