“Lest We Forget” informs us, in reference to anniversaries of- engagements in' the Maori War, that photographs of the various cairns and monuments erected to the Maori War veterans were taken and placed in one picture, copies being presented by the Maori War Veterans’ Association to the Hawera -Main, Norman by, Okaiawa, ■ Manaia, Pa.tea and the Hawera Convent Schools, with a request that the scholars’ attention he drawn to them on the anniversary of the engagements which took place in South Taranaki.
