EXTENSIVE ENLARGEMENTS DECIDED UPON. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) , (Australian Press Association.) Received 12.5 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, July 10. Owing to the ever-increasing size of ocean liners, the Government has decided to enlarge the dock at Cockatoo Island to 8 enable it to accommodate liners of the size of the Union Company’s new vessel now building, which will be the same length as the Ceramic, hut sixteen feet wider in beam. The dock will be extended to 690 feet, and 88 feet in width.
