Feilden. Taylor, on a charge of allcg ed indecent assault, Was further re inanded to-day to July 19.
A case of alleged attempted murder of her husband by Marion ‘ Keerthin was remanded to July 11.
WOMAN SHOPLIFTER.
GISBORNE, July 4. A young married woman named Margaret Kirkwood Houston, aged 24 years, admitted 18 charges of theft and two of shoplifting in the Police- Court to-day.
Police information disclosed the fact that since the beginning of the year the woman had followed a career of shoplifting. The magistrate (Mr. Lewy) declined to grant the privileges of probation, and sentenced her to three months’ imprisonment.
