AIRS. SMITH’S STORY. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright,) (Austi*alian Press Association.) Received 10.55 a.m. to-day. PERTH, June 26. Hulnio has been remanded for eight days. Airs. Smith, who has improved, stated that her husband was shot dead on Friday afternoon, the employee stating that he had fallen from the tractor and been killed. She wanted to rush to the spot, but the same employee .sympathetically persuaded her to remain in the house, immediately after which lie punched her face and body unmercifully and secured her with ropes to the lied post and assaulted her. Then he attacked other members of the family. The baby is recovering. The six-vear-old girl is still in a critical condition.
