In the Vannes-Sarles section of the Tour tie France cycle race, for Which there were 116 starter®, the winners re : Oyon, Fnanitz, Leduoq, Meertens, Reibry, Neuhard, Yervaeoke ; time, 6hrs 23miin. 14seo. Oppennan was twentieth (Ghns 44iuiin 30sec), and Watson fiftyfourth (7hris 7min 7sec). The extreme heat caused the riders to suffer fatigue. The Louvet team caught Oppennan and rode on opposite sides for 20 miles. Opperman drew away, but had a puncture and Louvet passed him again. . In the aggregate Oppennan is twelfth and Watson eighteenth.
