NEW ZEALANDERS DEFEAT NORTHUMBERLAND. (AUSTRALIAN PRESS ASSOCIATIONUNITED SERVICE.) Received 9.50 a.m. to-day. LONDON, June 12. The New Zealand bowlers, by .114 to 105, defeated Northumberland . Comity at Newcastle. The Home team included a 'number of English internationals. The scores of the New Zealand rinks were: Carson 19, Sole 22, Parker 25, Hutchison 18, Grant 19/ Dee 13. The Northumberland skins scored 18, 16, 12, 13, 16 and 30. COLONIAL TEAAC BEATEN. Received 11.5 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Juno 12. After being on Sunday the guests of the Shakespearean Society, the Australian and New Zealand bowlers wore beaten by Stratford-on-Avon by .131 to 97. They never ■mastered the green.
