MOTORISTS WARNED.
ATTENTION TO REGULATIONS. A warning concerning the advisability on the* part of motorists' to pay strict attention to the regulations was conveyed by Sergeant Henry, officer-m----charg’e of the Hawera police station, when in conversation with a "Hawera Star” reporter on Saturday he referred *",•> tlm cominur into operation on Friday. Junel, of the several amendments, and intimated that the regulations would be strictly enforced in their entirety. The new r provisions covering reflectors, lights, condition of brake's and warning devices were mentioned by the sergeant as 'calling for the careful, attention of drivers, but he emphasised that equal care must be observed concerning speed, equipment, control, rules of the road and the regulations generally.
