IMPORTANT LAND SALES.

In order to ensure that the utmost production shall be secured from the rich, land of South Taranaki, it is necessary that it is farmed in small areas, and as years go by the larger places are being subdivided atul put on the market. Next Saturday will see an important isiibdivisional land sale, when Messrs. Geory Bros.’ large holding of land at Manutahi and Meremere, comprising 1640 acres, cut up into 10 farms, ranging from 66 to 302 acres, will lie submitted to public auction in Hawera. The sale is to bo held hv the Fanners’ Co-operative' Organisation Society at the 1 Foresters’ Hall, commencing at 2 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity for men to acquire sections in the district. This will he' sorted and offered in lots suitable to purchasers, thus presenting an exceptional opportunity to farmers in search of suitable timber for ie-pa-ir work to be done during the winter months.
