A REVOLTING CRIME.
WOMAN DONE TO DEATH. POLICE ARREST HUSBAND. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN PRESS ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, May 18. Mrs. Sarah Delaney, aged 63, was found dead at her home at Granville suburb on "Wednesday wfith an element of mystery surrounding her death. " The police have now arrested her' husband. John Delaney, aged 63, a bag merchant, on a charge of murder. Medical examination disclosed; that the woman had been murdered in a revolting manner, recalling the Long Bay horror of a few years ago, hut the police have not yet found the instrument which inflicted the terrible internal injuries. Deceased left several thousand sterling. The police, who discovered a quantity of burned papers under the copper, assert that Delaney and his wife lived unhappily.
