Medical examination disclosed; that the woman had been murdered in a revolting manner, recalling the Long Bay horror of a few years ago, hut the police have not yet found the instrument which inflicted the terrible internal injuries. Deceased left several thousand sterling. The police, who discovered a quantity of burned papers under the copper, assert that Delaney and his wife lived unhappily.
