The usual monthly meeting of the Okainw-a, Branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union will be held on Friday evening at 7.30 o’clock. -There is much interesting business, and a- good attendance- is specially desired. At a meeting to-day of the New Zealand Fanners-’ Union Provincial Executive for South Taranaki, before the annual conference, the president (Air. H. Hodge), of Alton, referring to the work in the coming year, said lie did not wish to again occupy the position, and felt he could not do so without the very able assistance of the provincial secretary (Air. E. K. Cameron). It was a nice tribute to good work.
