REMAND GRANTED ON SERIOUS CHARGE. [I!Y TEfjKOJtAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, May 10. A case that is likolv to cause a sensation came briefly before the court here this afternoon, when a minister, aged 40 years, was charged that on November 2, 1927, at Wellington, lie di ( i-'indecently assault a certain other male. On the'application of the chief-de-tective a remand until May 23 was granted. Hail for accused was granted, £l5O and two sureties of £75. 'Counsel also asked for an order suppressing accused’s name. Mr. Riddell, S.M., said counsel need not put forward any grounds in support of the application for suppression. He proposed to order suppression pending further proceedings.
