HAWERA CROQUET CLUB
A general meeting of the Hawera Lawn Tennis and Croquet Clubs was held in the Borough Chambers on Inday evening, when ’over 50 members were present, Mr. H. I). Caplen presiding. The meeting was held chiefly for the purpose of discussion on the proposed separation of the tennis and croquet sections, the latter desiring to form a club of their own. A resolution that separation should take place was carried, the terms suggested bv the late president, Mr. J. M. Collins, being adopted. A further motion wishing the new croquet club every success in the' future was unanimously carried.
