TOUR OF JAPANESE TRAINING SQUADRON.
WELLINGTON, April 28. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. J. Itolleston, announced to-day the itinerary of the Japanese training squadron, which is to cruise in the Pacific this year. Calls will be made at Shanghai, Hongkong, and Manilla. The vessels arrive at Singapore on May 28 and call .subsequently at Batavia, and then Australian ports, arriving at Wellington on July 25. It will be here for three days, then at Auckland from uly 31 to August 4, whence it will go to Suva and Japan, calling at Honolulu and elsewhere en route.
