PRISONER ESCAPES.
•MURDER TRIALS AT SAMOA. (Special to Press Association—By Radio j APIA, April 26. Alt Alay, the Chinese coolie, was on trial to-day for the murder of another coolie in a plantation near Apia, in Afarch last. Another coolie,, Wong See, who was arrested last week on suspicion for the murder of two girls in a Aiugelese plantation last October .effected his escape from the lock-up by tearing up the flooring on Wednesday. Hi? has not yet been captured.
