Speaking at the annual convention ot the Victorian Chamber of Agriculture, Dr. Earle Page, Federal Treasurer, said that despite increased markets, tne position of the farmer was conti mi a l.v ■demining, mainly due to the agrioult ,ral industry not being organised on the lines of other industrial concerns. The. convention carried a resolution requesting the Federal Ministry to appoint a commission representing the primary producers to consider and report on the economic oomlitions j of the markets and primary production' generally.
