RIFLE SHOOTING.

AT NEW PLYMOUTH. BELT TO A. GOVENLOCK. Aluch good shooting took place at Dewar©wa Dang© on Saturday, when about sixt3 T competitors; shot tor th|3 Taranaki Championship Belt. Conditions were good generally, though in the morning the light was changeable. There were six individual and one teams’ match and Hawera and district ootists scored very well. P. 0. Veale won the Hawera. match, G. Harrison (Kaponga) the New Plymouth match, J. Booth (Hawera) the toner range aggregate with L. C. Harrison second, and G. It. Smith (Kaponga) was second in the Pa tea match. Booth also got third in the grand aggregate. Special interest- attaches to the Belt, because D.
