CABINET’S ULTIMATUM.

BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 10.50 a.m. to-day. SYDNEY, March 24. The Premier, the Hon. T. IF Bavin, has notified the employees on Walsh Island that if they do not return to work on Monday an pre-strike conditions, Cabinet will take steps on Tuesday to dispose of the enterprise. The Sydney Labour Council has now intervened in the dispute. The secretary, Mr. Garden, says that he is hopeful that a settlement will he amicably reached.
