STOCK SALES. ! The Farmers ’ Co-op. Organisation Society reports as under: — At Stratford on Tuesday, February 21, we had a fair yarding and a good sale before a large attendance. Work cows up to £6 12s, £6 6s, £6 ss, £4 Bs, £4 4s, £3 15s £2 10s, to 30s; work bulls £3 17s, £1 10s, £5 12s, £5 15s to £6 Os; dairy cows £0 10s, £0 os, £5 ss; aged ewes 8s 4d small; mixed 2-ths, 10s 3d. At Inglewood on Wednesday, February 22, we held our annual sheep fail when some 2000 sheep and a large yard, ing of cattle came forward. There was , a very large attendance; and a total clearance was made at very satisfactory prices. A fine line of 2-th. ewes, on' account of J. H. Young, realising 32s Sd; shorn lambs, on account of W. H. Morine, 19s; also a splendid lot of weaner Holstein steers, on account Rust and Butler, brought £2 10s; some of the prices were as follows: 2-th. ewes, 33s Bd, 27s 9d, 27s 6d; 2-th to f.m 23s 9d; f.m. ewes £1 Is, 10s 4d, TSs 4d; 2-th. Avethers 235; fat wethers 255; cms. lambs 10s, 18 l s lOd, 17s Bd, 14s, 12 s 10d to 9s 2d; S.D. rams 6Jgns, 6gns, 5-lgns, sgns, 2gns; Romney rams sgns, 3gns, 2gns. There Avas also a -big yarding of store cattle, fat coavs £6 4s, £0; forward do, £5 11s, £5 10s; Avorks cows £4 19s, £4 5s £3 ss, to £2 10s; Aveaner steers, good £2 10s to £2 4s; Aveaner heifers, choice £4 to £3 13s; mixed colours £2 17s, £2 10s, £2 to £1 10s; medium incalf heifers £4 19s; Avorks bulls, £5 15s, £5 10s, to £3 10s. At TJrenui on Monday, the 27th inst.. in spite of the rough Aveather, we had a fair yarding and a good sale. Fat heifers £6 19s, £6 •11 s and £6 7s 6d; Avorks cows £4 to £2 10s; Cheviot rams 2Agns; aged eAves 15s 6d. At Eltham on Wednesday, February 20, we had a splendid yarding and a good sale before a large attendance of buyers. - A line of good Avether lambs on account of G. BroAA r n realising 16s 2d.
