Mr R. A. Davies, a prominent solicitor and public man of Taihape, died from pneumonia last evening. , He leaves a wife and five young children, states a Press Association message from Tafhape. A Press cable message from Berlin announces the death of Prince Liehnowsky, the German Ambassador to Britain in 1914.
