BatemanOampaign, secretary of the British Red Cross, arrived hy the Maunganui this morning in a rapid tour of New Zealand, spending a day or two at each centre .and leaving finally on March 23. In an interview, -he said that he Avas not here to. Jay down any hard and fast rules for the Dominion’s societies, but rather to see ivhat New Zealand was doing, and to encourage the good work. He had come to learn, as well a$ to instruct.
