BACH HAS LEG AMPUTATED

MOTOR) COLLISION CASE

[by TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 WELLINGTON, Jan. 18.

Arising out of a motor collision at Upper Mutt on September 17 between a- motorcar and a motor cycle, Albert Goodman, the driver of the ear, was charged with negligent and _ reckless driving and causing bodily injuries to the riders of the cycle, Percy John Aldridge and Norman Parata.

Medical evidence was given that both men were still in hospital and each had had a log amputated. It is alleged that Goodman’s car shot out from the rear of two- other cans and struck the cycle and that Goodman was drunk.
