Cable advice received by Mr. G. H. Ruckeridge (Messrs. H. A. Lane and Co., Ltd., London) shows a slight tall in prices (Is in cheese and 2s in hut ter). The quoted figures are: “Butter 162 s and cheese 925, with both markets quiet.” Tt is certain that transno id difficulties in England, due to heavy floods, are having an effect onthe market.
