PETROL PRICES UP.
FO'UiRPENGE A GALLON INCREASE
NEW RIAT'E CHARGED IN RAWER A
At noon to-day the prices of all brands of petrol were advanced by fourpence a. gallon as a result of the imposition of the petrol tax recently imposed by the Government. The decision 'ot the Vacuum Oil Company to increase the price of bulk petrol as from to-day was advised by Press Association telegram and the Hawera .branch of the Motor Traders’ Association decided this morning to advance the price of benzine sold locally At noon.
