One woman in Wanganui recently thought that she had discovered a new use for railway Iporters hy turning them into dog minders. yh© walked proudly up to a porter on the platform followed by a mongrel fox terrier “Would you mind Toby for an hour or so?” queried the woman. The porter, .always ready to oblige, looked round expecting to hud a small boy, but no Toby did he see.
