A man moved, seconded and passed a morion, all by himself, at a meeting in Christchurch on a recent afternoon (•states the “Sun”). Mr P. P. J. Amodeo, a solicitor, was the man who accomplished the feat. It was at a creditors’ meeting, and Mr Amodeo and another creditor were the only men present- rvho were entitled to vote, Mr Amodeo moved a motion, which the other man refused to second, as he was .not quite sure of the position. Mr Amodeo, explaining that he represented two creditors—a client and his own firm • —thereupon seconded his resolution, and carried it by a majority of two to one.
