SUBSTANTIAL OUTS TO* BE MADE NEXT YEAR. BY CABLE- PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, Deo. 22. An important group of Conservative members of the House of Commons has been Conducting long correspondence with the Government on the subject of economy and is stated to be fully satisfied with the concluding letter in which the Prime Minister, the Rt. 'Hon. Stanley Baldwin, intimated that he was making very substantial outs in expenditure in 1928. The “Daily Telegraph’s Parliamentary correspondent says the group is now convinced that the Government recognises the desire of its supporters to see a policy of retrenchment pursued in what will be the last full year of the present Parliament.
