At the sheepskin sales 3048 bales were offered, of which 2035 were Australian and 802 New Zealand. There was a good attendance and keen general competition. American, Home and Continental buyers were operating. Prices were dearer compared with those of October 27. Merinos, threequarter to full wooled, up to 5 per cent, and half-woolled fully 5 per cent.; crossbreds, Australian 5 per cent., Now Zealand 5 to .10 per cent; pelts and lambskins very Jirm. ■MELBOURNE MARKETS. Received 11.30 a.m. to-day. MELBOURNE, Dec. 16. Wheat has an easier tendency at 5s 5d and 5s old; flour, £l3 to £l3 10s; bran, £6; pollard, £7 JOs; oats, 4s to 4s 3d; barley. 5s 3d to 5s 9d; Cape malting barley, 4s 3d to 4s Od; potatoes, £4 5s to £5; onions, £5.
