PRISONER MURDERED HIS MOTHER. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 10.30 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Dec. 15. The jury, including six women, rejected the defence plea of insanity of McKay, who was sentenced to death. The prosecution proved that he was the only son and stood to benefit by £IOO on his mother’s death. [James McKay, aged 40, was arrested in Glasgow and charged with the murder of his mother, Mrs Arbuckle. The police entered the house occupied by her and found missing portions of her body.]
