At the wool sales 9184 bales were offered, of which 5234 were Australia, and 39+7 New Zealand. There was a splendid selection of Merinos and a good selection of all classes of crossbreds. A keen tone prevails for all descriptions and competition is general. Opening rate's are fully confirmed. Bradford spinners are finding business slow but top makers are firmly maintaining the prices. iSixtv-fours quality is quoted at 52d, GO’s 47,}d, 56’s 38-pi. 50’s 29d, 4fi‘s 23}d, 40’s 22}d.
